It was a nice read, I particularly enjoyed the sado-masochism aspect of it.Quinn and Estelle are nice characters. The story wasn't boring at all, which is a compliment coming from me because to me a boring book is the greatest sin.What I didn't like:- The way Quinn was so quick to submit to Mistress Jade and trust her. I would've liked Quinn to process everything more slowly and deeply, rather than jump right in without getting overwhelmed (which is a bit improbable in my opinion).- The double entendre. I like full honesty and no matter how hard the author tried to justify Mistress Jade's actions, they still weren't okay. Not to mention, I would've connected more to both characters since they were explosive together so imagine that in a sexual context.What I liked:- The main characters. They were honest and had great chemistry.- The BDSM aspects, especially the sadism-masochism which I think was done wonderfully. I really enjoyed reading about their whipping sessions. In addition, the author seemed to know what she was writing about and after reading the notes to the readers it is quite obvious she does so I appreciate it a lot.- The love story was nice but too short.What I would've liked to see:- A slower build up to both the love story and the BDSM realizations.- More detailed scenes (although these were detailed enough but you made me want to read more), especially the whipping ones. I wanted more. Mistress black Rose clearly knows her subject, not just the physical tools and techniques, but also the psychology and physiology f both domme and sub. Highly recommended for all of hose.She does need an editor, or at least a good dictionary; guidance on the difference between "flog" (a verb) and "flogger" (a noun), the tol with which it is done, or between "welt", the red swelling raised on flesh by an impact, and "whelp", a puppy, a baby dog. The words do sound kind of similar, but a spell-checker can only say if one as formed a real word, it cannot indicate whether that is the word one meant to use.
